Long Shaft/Short Shaft Pots for Blackouts.

If i understand correctly,
when purchasing a set of Blackouts the pots/wiring is included. I've noticed that according to the install instructions pdf. it says that short shaft pots are included but if long shafts are needed they will be sent free of charge upon contacting Seymour Duncan.

I'm interested in putting them in both of my PRS Singlecuts.... will the short shafts work or will i need to get the long shaft pots.

Depends. Are we talking about USA singlecuts with an actual carved top or the cheap imported ones with a flat top?? USAs will need long shafts IIRC wheras the imports should be fine with short ones.

Yea,
mine are real USA Singlecuts (Pre-Lawsuit actually, 2003 both of them)....
