LONG-Time Lil '59 User Seeking Op. of Lil '78,,,,

G'evening all~ I've been using a Lil '59 in my Strat's bridge position as long as they've been making them,,, but just curious to know of any 1st-hand impressions & comparisons to the Lil '78. FWIW, my middle & neck pups are both SSL-2's, & my #2 position is sweet. Very happy with the setup, but just thinking~

Imo not as much intricacy comes thru in the single coil size hbs so I would say just stick with your setup. But it's also fun to try new pickups so if you have the $$ I'm sure it's a good pup.

Did they unveil this at Namm?

I think it is something the Custom Shop has been making for awhile. They can pretty much make any humbucker in a Little size though, even your own designs.
