Hi folks,

It's been very long...I was 11 when I got my first Duncan JB and the forum was still army green...

Good to see the forum is still very alive and well.

Just sharing a video. Stayed home the whole day and thought I'd do a guitar marathon.

Not very old school, but a good les paul can do anything!

For those familiar and not so familiar with EJ, please go listen to Venus Isle- it is a masterpiece.
He is the absolute pinnacle for me.

Oh, forgot the most important bit. Antiquity humbuckers (w/ full strength magnets because I am a geek- I have no idea if it makes a difference or not).

Seriously man - fantastic. The LP looks great too! What is your FX setup there?

ACEMAN! I remember you!

Well I may have popped in from time to time wondering what antiquities with full strength magnets would sound like, but I figured I'd try it for myself!

The 2061x at the back blew up. This is is just the r9 through a logic x preset. Guitar->macbook. Sorry for the disappointment haha :)

I started back in 2001, but I was never really serious about it till I saw EJ the man himself back in 2012 in nyc. It was more of a do or die moment after the concert, and I was wondering whether I should totally give up or totally play. I'd like to think I am at least "fingers between the binding" so to speak. He is one of my all time favorites. Ah Via Musicom and Venus Isle are absolutely revolutionary- the latter is my all time favorite album.

Yep, Venus Isle is a master piece. I and really got into clean + Chorus + Delay because of EJ clean tone. Great video!!!
