That's just stupid...how ,uch of that does one guy really need? If he runs a studio, and makes a fair amount of money from it, I could see having that amount or gear...but I just belive that that guy belives that cloths DO make the man...which is not true!

well, some people are good at guitar, and some people are good at collecting shiny objects (raccoon syndrome).
He obviously doesn't know how to play, or else he wouldnt have that ART stuff

I do like the synth collection though.

saw that one already.. this guy is stupid. he's got about 2 or 3 fold of everything he has.. 3 tube screamers, 2 soldanos.. he doesnt have gas, he's just the stupid, it's on sale, i have to buy it cos then i save money type of morons. i do believe he can play, but having 3 things of the same type, stock is just idiotism

no, its not all duplicates...he has 3-4 different versions of the same units, like the digitech preamps- he has one, and when the new version came out, he kept the old one and bought 2-3 more. Same with the Boss pedals and 1/2 space rack effects- and the guitar synths. The ones he has are 10 years old (*very* old by synth standards) and he has 3-4 of each. Guitar synths don't age like pedals, they just sound bad compared to modern synths.

haha stevo you're right about that. the POD is cool cause you have such a large selection.. so maybe he just wants the real thing instead lol. I think thats cool he has so much stuff, and is able to afford it.

Whenever I see that link, I just can't understand why he has bought and kept all of it.

If I had that setup, I'd gut the collection save a few of the amps and maybe one rack setup, and buy half a dozen boutique amps and some really nice guitars. I'd keep the peadls and the synths.

But hey, each one of us is different. This guy seems to be on the weird side of different, though.

thanks for showing the pic... gives me a wake up call to stop dreaming abt grear and start practicing more. having the best gear in town and being able to play are two whole different stories..

That's the disturbing thing, owning that much gear satisfies his appetite for like a day and he needs more. If you were to ask me I think he's just a bit insecure, either with himself, his playing, or some past event.
