I have a forum buddy on another forum who is down on his luck. He's kind of a craftman, so he decided to make some cool guitar hangers for his friends. I don't know where he got the idea, but it is really cool. Basically, he makes a mini-guitar out of wood and then attaches a hanger to the front (like a shovel or bike hanger you can get at Home Depot). You attach the mini-guitar to a wall stud, and then you can hang your guitar off the hanger. I thought it was a very cool idea, and he was selling them cheap to get some extra cash since he lost his job.



I bought a stratocaster version, and then decided to send him pictures of my guitars so he could make mini-guitars that match my actual guitars. Now, each guitar has it's own hanger with a "mini-me". Here is a picture of what he sent me:

Just thought I'd share... seemed like such a cool idea that I'm surprised I hadn't seen it before.

Very, very cool.

Also very cool that he's trying to make money from skills he has rather than sitting around moaning about it like me. I respect that.

If I wasn't broke myself I'd totally send some business his way.

That's really cool man, and a good idea to make extra cash. Sometimes things like this turn into a business out of nowhere.

If I had the space to hang all my guitars I'd have him make a few dozen. ;)

that's REALLY cool

the bursts don't look quite right but it's probably a lot better than i could do :smokin:

i use floor stands but i would love these for my music room...if only so my guitars always go up in the right spots!
