Look whatcha daddy just won!

Re: Look whatcha daddy just won!

I love the cream. It's gonna look sick sitting next to the white Fulltone Clyde Deluxe wah. The tone is what you buy these for though. They sound great with a strat and tweed amp, but can also add a lot of chunk to a metal setup.
Try one on your Peavey XXX, and you'll see what I'm talkin about.

Sounds like a really sweet deal there jonesy. Give us a review when you get it in and run it through it's paces.

Re: Look whatcha daddy just won!

A lady friend said the funniest thing to me -

"whatever you do don't sell the blue Marshall, the Plexi, the big blue pedal (re: FD2) and the OCD." She especially raves the OCD sounds killer.

Pretty cool to hear that from a non-guitar player.
FD2's are amazing. I love the transparency they give, as well as harmonics.

NICE :beerchug:

The cream color suits that pedal....it's gonna sound creamy as hell.

I put on 10lbs. just looking at it :D

Re: Look whatcha daddy just won!

Damn you GAS inflicter! I'm going to be well on my way to duplicate your rig bit by bit. :D

Re: Look whatcha daddy just won!

I think that's the nicest looking fulltone pedal I've ever seen.

Re: Look whatcha daddy just won!

I'm going through another OD phase, although I'm keeping the Klon. I also like the T. Rex Mudhoney, since it does that sludgy late-ZZ Top sound really well. The one pedal I really regret selling was a very rare Blues Pearl Blue Screamer, which was the best Tubescreamer I've ever heard. I kick myself for selling that.

The ones that I still want to have eventually are the SFX-03, CM Plexitone, Fulltone OCD (my next pedal), and the Austone Two Step.

I think the next incarnation of my pedalboard will be all white Fulltones across the front, just for the tone AND look. Clyde Deluxe, ODC, FDII, and mini Dejavibe. I might replace my L6 Modulator with a Hughes & Kettner Rotosphere MKII. I've had the same pedalboard for 5 years now, so I'm looking to update it and move some stuff around.

I've been wanting one of the Rotospheres, Joe, but with the Replex sucking up the real estate, I haven't bit the bullet...yet !

Re: Look whatcha daddy just won!

Hey GJ.....what OD were you using in The Kinship days, that Blues Pearl?

"Somebody Who Cares" popped up on the mp3 & I was diggin' on that tone :bigthumb:

Re: Look whatcha daddy just won!

The cool thing about the Rotoshphere is that you can also use it on keyboards, so I'd be able to get a good Hammond B-3 sound on my keyboard, then use the Rotosphere for a realistic Leslie sound. I just wish they weren't so damn expensive! I'm going to sell off some pedals and pickups to pay for all this swapping.

I'm pretty sure that was my sunburst strat with an SSL-1 neck, running straight into a Blues Pearl Shredhead on top of a Marshall 1960AV. That was my rig in that band. In that band, the OD pedals I owned were the Blues Pearl Blue Screamer, Stamps Drive'O'Matic, and orange Fulldrive II. I think the solo for that song was the Drive'O'Matic.

Terry, my old singer Shelby moved back to Texas after the band ended, and I told him I didn't care if he used the name 'The Kinship' for his new band.
They just released a self produced CD in Texas and could possibly get signed.
I stayed in LA and still play with some of the ex members, trying to get a new incarnation off the ground. Here's Shelby's version of The Kinship, with all new players.
