Been poking around for different small practice bass amps the past couple weeks.
I have a size, power and price range in mind so it's now a matter of deciding on which amp.
tried a Marshall 25B, a Yorkville Bloc, a Fender (don't recall the model) and a couple Line 6 amps.
They were okay, but nothing great.
All were roughly the same size, power and price.
So far the one that has really caught my attention is this one by Eden

But I'm also hearing a lot of good about the smaller Mark Bass amps, this one in particular (the Micro Mark 801), I tried a larger Mark Bass yesterday and it is fairly comparable to the Eden.

I rented an SWR Workingman 15 for a week, and while it was a great sounding amp it was a complete beast to move around.
SWR does have smaller units that you can buy to assemble a reasonable size amp, but for a practice amp the price point is not what I want to commit to right now.
Probably going to take my bass and check out the Eden a little more than the casual play I gave it, but the Mark bass option is something I'm interested in as well.
Does anyone have experience with this line of amps, and if so what are some of the high and low points that you've noticed?
I already have my own thoughts, and have done some browsing of opinions but curious what first hand experience people have that may point out something I haven't thought of.
I was looking into this last one, but it's price point is also a lot more than I want to spend right now.
