Looking for a name on my shops new model, please help us out!

Re: Looking for a name on my shops new model, please help us out!

I'm sorry, I can't think of a good name ('cause you probably wouldn't want to call it "Steve" :18: ) but I can tell you that thing looks REALLY cool! I love pointy/odd/different guitars (think early BC Rich-es) but in natural wood colors, so that "trips my trigger"!
I wish you the best of luck with those!

Pelea de gallos is fighting chicken... El diablo is The devil.

I knew there was a reason I never watched that movie

Triton... don't know why, but that's what popped into my head!

Love the guitar... if you're thinking of giving away any demo samples, I'd be willing to help ya out by giving it a whirl! :D

It's pretty stupid. Like most Will Ferrell movies, the quotes individually tend to outweigh the final product.

I stand by what I said though, El Diablo would be a sweet name for that axe.

If you don't watch Talladega Nights, F--- you!

Please don't take that seriously, its also kinda from the movie. I love the older Will Ferrell movies, and I usually hate dumb comedies. For instance, I hate every single one of those parody movies like all the Scary Movie series, etc. There is just something about that whole generation of his movies that appeals to me.

It has a Sting Ray tail, but you can't use the name of Ernie Ball's trademarked bass. I'd say The Ray, but El Rey sounds best to me.

Desert Scorpion,

Beautiful, by the way, I mean that, not just saying. Very cool.

Löwe = Lion

The color scheme matches that of the king of beast and looks like it can roar like one as well....

Re: Looking for a name on my shops new model, please help us out!

I see elements of B. C. Rich Warlock and Ibanez Fireman. Warman is already a registered trade mark. That leaves Firelock, possibly.

If I were going to be brutally frank, I would say that finding a name is the least of your problems. I do not doubt the quality of your workmanship or materials. I do doubt the level of demand for original/bespoke body shapes.

Re: Looking for a name on my shops new model, please help us out!

If you're going to name it something "that means something else", why not simply give it that name? I mean, I could see if it was being sold in Greece that you'd call it the Greek name for "Thorn", but if it's being sold in a place that doesn't speak Greek....I don't get it.

If you're going to give it a name that needs to be explained, maybe go for something from a literary work or mythology. Or maybe something like Sorrow, Despair, Dread, Pandora's Key, Dragon's Tail, etc.
