Those Matamps/Grrens unfortunately have stopped being made for the UK market, which is a bit of a pain, I would now have to order it through the US branch. So it would get built in the UK, shipped to the USA, modified to USA specs, then get shipped back to the UK, and modded back to UK specs, its a rediculous situation, so unfortunately i need to look for an alternative.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Im gettin a decent list of stuff to check out now. Any more are still very welcome though!

Any company that runs such an idiotic loop such as the one described for Matamp doesn't need your money anyway - I never heard of anything so cretinous, are you sure that they won't sell you the UK spec model at the plant????????

You should check out Engl. People rave about them. The Sreamer and Thunder come in 50 watt versions and supposedly go from sweet cleans to ball-crunching distortion.
