Looking for a specific Marshall like pedal

Looking for a all analog true bypass pedal that can replicate as close as possible to a 1959 slp thanks!

Re: Looking for a specific Marshall like pedal

I was kinda thinking of the tech 21 hot rod plexi. Anyone play around with one? I'm looking into the dirty deep now!

Re: Looking for a specific Marshall like pedal

Do you really want a 1959 tone or what people call the Plexi tone? You say as close as possible, is that really what you want? There are many that are lower priced than the ones below that will get you a great Marshall type tone. That being said...

The ones I’d look at are:
Wampler PlexiDrive
PedalPal 959
Ramble Effect Marvel Drive
And if you want to splash out, the Origin Revival Drive.

Once you get into Tube preamps, the Kingsley Constable and Victory V4 interest me for running into a tube power amp.

I’d add the Xotic SL Drive to PFDarkside’s list.

Ive decided I'm gonna give the PedalPal 959 a shot, it seems very legit, and the price is friendly enough for me.

Thanks guys!

Check out the Blackstar HT series. Specifically the HT-Dual. Marshall style OD and Dist in one unit. You can get a used one for +\-$100.

Re: Looking for a specific Marshall like pedal

Just get a Kemper. Or Don't.

I'm calling Dave on the Dirty Deed - while I'm sure it can get fairly in that zone, it is not an Uber-1959 pedal. Cool pedal, no doubt, but not what OP wants....

Re: Looking for a specific Marshall like pedal

Sounds like the OP has already made a decision, from what I can find, it looks like a good decision.

I'm with Ace on the Dirty Deeds pedal, great pedal, but not for this application.

Ugh! I hate internal switches. But it is a sweet pedal.
