Looking for a truss rod cover for my Epiphone Les Paul

I don't remember screwing it down that hard but I put a small break in mine. Will a Gibson Truss Rod Cover fit an Epiphone? Or should I look for a genuine Epiphone cover?
If you can post some links where I can buy a couple please do.

Ebay is unresponsive to me at the current time, and Guitar Parts Factory doesn't look like they carry the right kind.

Oh...

I'm looking for a cover that says "Standard".

Thank You.

Nope. The Gibson ones are mounted using two screws. The Epi ones use three.

If you do order an aftermarket non-official Epiphone TRC, I don't recommend these: http://www.guitarheads.net/products/...rodcovers.html

I bought an inverted cross truss rod cover for my Gibson hoping it would look cool and edgy, but it looked cheap as hell. In the end, I just bought an original Gibson blank truss rod cover which cost about the same. I had to learn I'm not an angry Metal preteen anymore the hard way, LOL.

Okay Ebay is working for me now. I found some that will fit Epiphones.
I would recommend to skip the ones that have like "custom engravings" on them, because it's either the same seller, or the same manufacturer that the seller I bought from gets his from. They look really cheap and look really flimsy.

i too rarely adjust the truss rod
once it is set up, any seasonal movements are just played through
my action is low but not so much that a slight movement of the neck will render the guitar unplayable

I would never use that.

Me either!!!

Not only ugly, but really a stupid idea...I mean, how often do you need to access the truss rod?! It's not a daily procedure.

Just remember, you don't need to screw it down real tight. It's just a tiny bit of plastic with three screws to hold it down (overkill). Just barely snug to keep it in place is fine.
