my friend, being the idiot that he is, put one into an alder bodied strat. It sounded horrible. Overly percussive with small spike in the lower mids and a HUGE spike in the high mids/highs. It was like playing through a tin can. hmmm....maybe it only comes alive in really warm guitars, like angus's sg. I don't know, what kind of guitar are you lookin to put it in man??
