looking for some "technical" reading ??

Although, I would think most of you would probably not be interested.....I continuously get asked about the "definitive" writings about tubes and how they work. Probably the best, but least easily understood, explanation comes from the most informative source most people never even think of....US Navy..

If you do a google search for NAVEDTRA 14178 ,you will discover the most comprehensive source for info on this subject. Don't pay for this, it's been cleared for mass distribution and is free! (amazing how quick some people jump on the chance to make $$ on what's free already!!!! :gurmpy: )

This and the RCA Receiving Tube Manual RC-30 are pretty much staples for those seeking to understand "how things work".... pretty boring reading unless you're a true "tech geek" like me... :blackeye: However, you never know, you might actually learn something.

Just a heads up on some of the best "tech" resources....

Not surprising at all, actually. Military application of technology has a ton of funding and always has, so they investigate the current technology to the Nth degree. Thanks for the "heads up", JS.
