Looking for Strat body

I was planning to build a replica San Dimas Charvel but the builder stopped responding to me and I lost my money and a Kahler. I haven't really been as into playing guitar as much because of it, and I've been busy with school and everything. Now that I have more free time to play, I want to just finish building the guitar and move on. I still haven't even gotten to try out my User Group Day pickup since this was the guitar I was building it for.
I guess there isn't much point to this thread other than to ask what the easiest way to finish building a Strat that I have the neck for is. I have an ebay account, but would it be best to wait until a cheap Strat body goes for sale on the trading post?

well, it also depends on the kinda budget you have.
if you can afford it, getting a warmoth or usacg body would be an option as well, however its pricey though but definitely quality stuff.

other than that, yeah ebay is a nice place to fish for a body as well. just make sure the seller has a good seller rating, to be safe.

The pickup I built was a Screamin Demon/EVH hybrid with hex screws and an A2 magnet. It was a bit of a risk but hopefully I'll like it.
