Looking to convert my Tremoverb combo into a head ... any suggestions?

Anyone know who can build a head shell for my Tremoverb? I want to turn it into a stand alone head.

Have you looked at the Weber stuff? Lots of different head cab options.

Call Mesa...they used to happily sell head cabs and combo cabs for this very reason.

Yeah, it's super heavy, but that's not why I am cutting it down; I will never use it as a combo, I have too many cabs to choose from. Plus, for gigging, it's actually easier for me to use a head and cab than a combo.

Had a friend who called Mesa about a new head shell for his Dual Rec., IIRC it was pretty pricey. Just a heads up.

If I at all wanted to keep my Shiva, Id look into a headcase. That effin' combo is 80, count em, EIGHTY pounds!

my friendly suggestions: resale value might be less, might be hard to sell existing cab/speakers, and just selling it is a good excuse to try a new head and get new gear
