Looks like Fender has completely redone their American Vintage line

Re: Looks like Fender has completely redone their American Vintage line

Holy crap. They added the Strat I've always wanted. The '65 round lam.

They look like great instruments and based off of my recent impression with the American and American Deluxe lines, they'll be worth it. However, I still think they're priced a few hundred higher than where they should be given the competition.

I'm starting to jones for that blue 64 tele with a black 3 ply guard. Dammit! LOL

Time to list an acoustic and a bicycle! haha

Looks great, but not for 2k. I'd go spend 1600 for a used custom shop model over this all day long.

this jaguar is surfy as ****

Awesome playing too. I love any music that sounds Middle Eastern, so surf is right up my ally.

And why is it so hard for Fender to just make the instruments the way they did the first time? Most of us could do a better job of recreating their pre-CBS instruments to the exact original specs.

Seems like they've gone with the Gibson model for reissues: clinical accuracy + crazy high prices.

Still cheaper than a RI LP though.

The big difference being that unlike Gibson us Fender guys can still part together our own at 1/2 the price and with almost unlimited options.
