My first post here ...go easy. I’m a real noob when it comes to Seymour Duncan pups - I don’t own any.
I have a Chapman ML2 Pro Modern I am going to be putting a bridge pickup in. All of the Passive Seymour Duncan pickup demos/reviews I find (or the vast majority) on like YouTube and stuff are in Dropped tunings. I usually play in E flat and occasionally drop to C# but just for maybe 2-3 songs. I’ve been on the fence considering Black Winter, Nazgul and Pegasus. I joined this forum to see if I could find some more opinions that would either solidify my choice or make me question it more before spending money.
After reading through here, I think I’m pretty sure I’ll go with the Pegasus.
I wasn’t considering changing the pots or anything but then I saw some posts saying go with a CTS 500k pot and I forget the cap but I will look that up again.
But is swapping them that important or can I get away with just doing the pickup swap?
