Afer reading a few threads here on A/B/Y pedals I had mentioned that I had ordered a Loop Master and would post a review once I recieved it.
I have been using 2 amps for quite a while and have had some difficulty in finding an affordable A/B/Y that won't bleed from the A side to the B. I have been using a Morley A/B/Y for about 10 years and it worked but it was noisy & the bleed always bothered me. So I tried a Startouch & that bled worse then the Morley did so I sent it back. I continued to investigate and had heard on this forum about Loop Master but had heard they had stop making products. So I continued to research to find the right solution for quiet switching & no bleed. I was just about ready to order a Lehle (for over $300.00) but I just had a hard time spending that kind of cash on an A/B/Y. So I went back to loop master.
Here is the pedal I ordered for $58.00

Well I received it today & immediately plugged it into my board with anticipation of it having similar problems. I has always been told that the bleed is due to a lack of a transformer. & ground loops. I don't really know what all that means, but This works perfectly. I use one amp for cleans & one for a volume boost & gain. I use both amps for both clean & gain. The main issue is if I had the A channel on and I was setting up the B I would hear the B while in the A. This does not do that. In fact I dimed both amps & it was completely isolated to each channel. I also spent a good amount of time switching back & fourth & the switching is also silent, or at least much quieter then the Morley. So bottom line if any of you are considering a A/B/Y I would highly recommend one of these. They are reasonable and appear to be well built. Most importantly is....... it works as it is supposed to. I finally have each amp completely isolated. Works great! And considering that it was made to order, it only took a few weeks to get it.
