Losing Volume

Now either I'm going deaf in my old age or there is something up with my amp.

When I first got my amp I used to play with master volume at about 10 o'clock, now I am having to turn it to 2 o'clock to get the same volume.

Is something on is way out? Or does it just need new tubes? C

I had that problem many years ago with a Crate Blue Voodoo that I had and it did turn out to be the tubes. In my case the sound was thinning out as well. I'd get it checked out now in case it's something that could affect any big items like the transformers.

Change the tubes and I bet the problem goes away. That sounds like a classic case if old tubes gettin ready to crap out.

I was thinking "hearing test" ... when I started playing it was louder kinda thing. :cool2:
