Lost POD Farm VST

I was trying to load EZ Drummer into Reaper last night and accidentally deleted my POD Farm VST. Now I can't find the files anywhere on my computer. I finally found a "dll" file but it won't load up. I have the iLoc version of POD Farm but I don't have any of the paperwork from when I bought it that may have codes or whatever.

I did a search and also went through the reccyle bin but no luck. I understand how I deleted POD Farm from Reaper because of a tab I clicked, but I don't understand how the program would have completely or almost completely abandoned my computer.

Can anyone understand what I have done and suggest a way to recover the missing program.

I have not called Line 6 yet.

I was thrilled when I got the EZ Drummer so cheap and saw that it is very intuitive and simple to operate, and now the other significant part of my DAW experience is crippled.

Try hitting up the Line6 forums for help locating the missing VST, meanwhile there are lots of good free alternatives to tide you over. http://lepouplugins.blogspot.com/

if the dll doesnt load up you might need to verify your product license again? I think line 6 uses a License Manager

Is the license info what's in the iLoc device?

Uh, not sure that this would work.... What about a system restore? to the day before? Someone jump in if I'm wrong.....

Not at all .... it is the bare (more than adequate for my purposes) version from Sweetwater for $29.

I thought about trying that, but my daughter was in the middle of downloading Microsoft Home/Student from Amazon and I didn't want to risk shutting her operation down. If it will work I would set the restore point between the time I downloaded the new Microsoft program and the time I deleted POD Farm. There was about an eight hour window.

No problem. I hope you enjoy it. I know it's going to help me get back into recording. I haven't touched Reaper since the Riff-Offs.

Back to the POD issue. I just got off the phone with Line 6 Support after a very brief wait and the process is simple. All I have to do is make sure everything POD releated is deleted off my computer, then go to their website and log in to the account I had to establish for the original purchase (or licensing) and download the program again. No problems.

Good dude ... good support. Coincidentally, he just bought EZ Drummer last night.
