I know what you mean about this. I played at church and the same thing happened. lots of fizz straight into the PA system. They complained about miking me, but now they love it because my levels are a log more controllable.

Yeah.. I had a lot of fizz. I've heard some people Maxing the volume on the POD and letting the sound guy control it from there. Dunno how well it works. A friend told me it got rid of all the fizz for him. I haven't tried going direct since though.
