These are not my guitars. They belong to some old friends who are the owners/co-founders of Brian Moore Custom Guitars (now called iGuitar).
These two instruments utilize hollow body construction with the pickups mounted directly to the maple top. MC/1s with serial numbers above 200 have a center block that the pickups are routed into, creating a semi-hollow body construction. Both of these guitars come with the original Custom Shop case with "M" logo satin blanket.
This is serial number 151.
It was manufactured in May 1994 in the company's original Brewster, NY shop and features a highly figured flame maple top in Vintage Orange (similar to Gretsch Orange, it has also been called Pumpkin Flame). It features a composite body and composite neck-thru construction - with MC/1 neck adjustment, natural wood binding, rosewood fingerboard, 6105 Frets .096" x .047", Wilikinson Standard Trem with rear access 1/8" Schaller "Sure Claw" trem spring adjustment, black hardware, matching headstock, and Sperzel locking tuners.
The bridge pickup is a JB and the middle and neck are old style Hot Rails.
This is serial number 161.
It was also manufactured in May 1994 in Brewster and is similar to #151 except it comes in a finish called "Deep Purple" and features a JB and an Alnico II Pro humbucker.
I've seen low serial number MC/1's on eBay for over $6,500 (listed as "9 out of 10"). My friend is asking $3,495 for each guitar. I'm told both of these guitars are in mint condition.
