Sooooo... you are like me and LOVE the Alnico Blue, Greenback, and G12H30, Jensens P10s, 12's ...

but you need more wattage, esp in 2x12's.

Let's discuss good substitutes models that YOU HAVE ACTUALLY USED. Can you tell us what they sounded like? How close where they?

I assume the Celestion Gold will come up... any other ideas?

Ted Weber to the rescue!

I know you said speakers that we had tried and I have not really tried any of these but in the Alnico Ble, there is the Gold (at 50 watts) but I know very little about them...there is also the Weber Blue Dogs and Silver Bells in 15, 30 and 50 watt ranges and for Greenbacks and H30's look into those Scum Back speakers...made by Ted Weber and they have versions that can handle more power (I belive 65 watts).

On the jensen thing you're on your own...

FWIW, you might try emailing Ted Weber he might be able to do you a custom sort of speaker if you tell him the speaker you want and the power you need it in he might be able to do it...Imnot saying that he will but he might. Ted is a great guy and has helped me several times!
