Lowest possible noise X7s and 6V6GTs?

I FINALLY found a replacement filter cap for my Laney *Insert applause for the HC people here and everyone who helped :bigok:* and I want to tame the beast to get the LEAST possible noise (I don't mind the reduction in gain) to further get rid of everything.

My valves go as follow.
1: gain
2: gain
3: PI
4: AOR Boost/EQ boosts

So I was thinking of getting a balanced 12AX7 for the PI to minimize risks, then just low gain standard X or maybe Y or T?
I'm not exactly sure what's in right now... 2 JJECC83S, some EH12AX7 and a Ruby I think. Output valves are JJ6V6GTs. I rebiased it myself when I first changed the valves. Only time for that matter.

What would you guys advise? Also, are there some low noise output valves are do such things not exist?

I'll be hoenst, for power tubes, in urrent production 6V6's the EH's are hard to beat IMO. I also have heard good things about the JJ's but have never tried them myself. For 12Ax7's the reissue Tung Sol is great and for high gain low noise the Sovtek 12AX7LPS is a killer tube, if you want less gain over all get a nice NOC 5751 and use it in V1.

Re: Lowest possible noise X7s and 6V6GTs?

Thanks! I'll try those EHs then. Good call about a 5751.

Re: Lowest possible noise X7s and 6V6GTs?

What would a AT or AY 7 do? Any other model I could use for less noise? In V2 as well maybe?

Re: Lowest possible noise X7s and 6V6GTs?

Yeah I think I'll stay with the JJs. They're probably the best in their category. The EH are pretty darn good too, they impressed me. I'm looking for even cleaner than that though.
I just emailed Watford valves for a balanced X7 to put in the PI.
