I know the 5D8 uses two 5Y3G tubes.
The sound i'm looking for is a low watt keith richards, rory gallagher, neil young, and billy gibbons type tweed tone.

That's 4 different tones and NONE of them come from a LP Twin...

Keith used BF and SF Fenders and Ampegs back in the day and the last 20+ years he's been on the high power (80 watt tweed Twins)...Rory used mostly AC30's a late 50's Bassman and a late 50's Twin (same Twin as Keith), Neil is a 5E3 Deluxe man and has been for decades and Billy...well, you'll never nail him down to one or even one dozen amps but a 5E3 or 6G3 Deluxe is a good start in the Fender world...

Just get a 5E3 Deluxe and call it a day...it'll get you all kinds of tweed goodness, it's plenty of power for most guys and they are far more common and less money than any of the tweed Twin amps...
