LTD EC-1000 Ground Wire

Simple question really. I just want to know if the vintage black ec-1000 with emg's have a ground wire in them. I've read that they do, and also that they don't. I just want to know before I decide to pick one up from GC or buy a washburn single cut online.

Doesn't look like mine has one . I would assume if the guitar has active pickups, you'll have to add a ground wire, along with some other different electronics if you're wanted to go to passive pickups

Makes sense. Thanks for the help! Unless I find one with passive pups I like on a third party site, I'll probably go with a washburn.

Anytime! I know they make some models that come stock with the jb/jazz set, but I don't know how they sound, and the colors are different. Goodluck in the guitar search!
