I dig that guitar. I don't care how much you paid, or who's name is (or isn't) on it, a good playing and sounding guitar is just that, a good guitar. (And yours looks great) Enjoy! (And you can post more pics, I won't complain!)

Thanks! About where I'm at with it...with any guitar anymore really. It took me a few years but "Brand Name" and "Headstock Shape" do not definitively make guitar "good".

I've played this guitar every night since I picked it up last Sat and it amazes me every time. May take the place of the USACG Iceman as my "favorite".

Or the action/bridge height??

And said 'Luthier' should have placed the T/P way further back. Breakover angle is pretty extreme......although the bridge height has something to do with that too.

could do the wrap-over thing to solve that issue

Does that guitar have a carved top, or flat ? It's very hard to tell in the pics.

Having built a LP-based instrument myself (build thread is in 'The Vault'), I am fully aware that, despite being a fantastic instrument with the best hardware, it's resale value would probably barely recoup what i spent to build it. Ironically, I'd probably have to spend at least AU$4000 to find anything 'better' or even equal. But of course I would never sell it.

In the case of this instrument, you've scored extremely well. If it plays and sounds good and makes you happy, it's an absolute steal, and may become very special to you. Enjoy it in good health.

Well thank you. It's got a Carved Top. I'm pretty realistic and bought this cause I like it; besides that i felt it worth what I paid and I'm loving it. It's all good.
