Lynch and DeMartini

Re: Lynch and DeMartini

Their tones are approximately 1 magnet apart. The early signature Lynch sound was a Ceramic JB.....a Distortion. And Warren's was an A5....a regular JB.

Both in superstrats with a Floyd.

They both definitely have the Duncan sound in common.

Yeah Yeah, I heard the story that it was only a stage prop too, i.e. he had a deal with them, but on the VH1 documentary on Bill Crosby there was footage from the studio and there was either AOR or Just a Pro-Tube miced. He definately dropped them and switched to Marshalls/SLO but he did use them for a while.

The George Lynch site referred to in the sister thread is one of the best I've seen. There is also Criss Oliva site. There is plenty of stuff on what Balckmore used, same for YJM, in my case everthing is well covered except for what UJR used on those scorpions albums .... but yeah I definately think we need more sites like that Lynch site.
