With all the mac craze going on around the forum, I thought I'd throw this up here. If someones just wanting a great little lightweight laptop then look no further. This little guy has been great. I've got two laptops now, and I just don't need this one anymore.

700 Mhz
384 MB RAM
10GB Hard drive
Mac OS 10.4 Tiger
12" screen
Microsoft Office Suite for Mac - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Entourage
CD-ROM
GarageBand
Wireless Airport Card
Wall Adaptor
Battery still holds a good charge

I don't have any of the original software disks or box's for this. The laptop is very clean with just some surface scratches on the outside from typical use.

I'm asking $350 Shipped to the Continental U.S. I'll get some pictures up if need be. Feel free to ask any and all questions. Paypal or cashiers checks are good.

Sorry for being slow getting the pictures. What do you mean by newer apps? Like Garageband or something? It runs Garageband fine but it wouldn't run something really CPU heavy like Pro Tools. It's not a speedburner by todays standards but great for mobile or desktop internet, office, word processing, picture, academic apps. Just a good little laptop that worked great for me in college. Forgot to mention it has a CD-ROM as well.

Hey Vinterland.....I think I'd like to take this. We need a laptop in a bad way, and this seems perfect.

Is it still pretty responsive for internet browsing, not too slow or anything? Also, with the air card will it just hook right into my existing home wireless network...or does it require some tweaking. I'm just not very good at this stuff, and this will be my first Mac.

If it is what you say it is, I can paypal you tonight. PM me and I can get you paid today via PayPal.

Also, can it be upgraded to run with more RAM, or is it maxed out?

Also, will it play DVD's or is it capable? Just wondering, not a necessity.

Jeff, the airport card will work with your existing 802.11 network for surfing. I can't vouch for file transfers from one pc to a mac. That looks like a good deal on a used laptop. I'm betting it can handle a bit more ram. Maybe up to a gig? At least up to 512. Since it's older, the ram for it is likely going to be CHEAP!!!

I can't wait to get it Scott. You've really got me thinking hard about Mac's with all your posts, and this was too good of a deal to pass up. We were literaly just at Best Buy yesterday looking at a laptop, and found the one we want, but weren't prepared to spend $1k right now, with trying to save for an amp and all.

This should be the perfect solution.

It'll be up to Jeff to keep the rocky shoreline wallpaper alive. Though, I have a feeling there might be a KISS wallpaper on the Ibook in the near future. One can only hope not. :smokin:
