made a demo vid of my pedalboard...

Late last week I got to my session & as often happens in the topsy turvey world of rock & roll, found out there was no session. With the sudden free time I decided to make a video of my freshly rewired pedalboard with my freshly restrung Les Paul to stick on the utoob. Sorry for all the rambling contained within... 'ya know, I was kinda makin' it up as I went along, 'ya know?! haha geez.

Cool stuff man. However, I think you need to put your pedal board on one of those rotating cake stands or something.;) That would drive me crazy trying to tap on some of those pedals.

What? You don't like 'em turned sidewards?! hahaha

Truthfully its not hard... might look a bit odd in the video but I assure that looking right on & in use its totally normal. I should take a picture from the top down... just straight on. If I didn't have some of the boxes turned I'd never be able to fit that many on such a small board.

Thanks for sharing that. I dig your Univibe + Delay combo there, and your idea to send the comp into the octave is smart.

I couldn't tell on the video because there was an audible switch click, but does the Loop Master pop when you switch loops in and out?

Thanks! The loop master box is as silent as anything else... very occasionally I'll get a pop but it seems to happen only with one pedal, an old phaser... and sometimes certain combination's of effects for whatever that says. The combos are I think more about having something really crazy coming on, like ring mod feeding a tonebender.

I switch the green loop on & off a few times during that ambient bit in the first minute... if there was an audible pop it'd come through the delay & keep repeating. The amp was loud enough to obliterate the physical 'click' of the pedals and string noise.

You could probably eliminate the pop completely with a pull-down resistor. Get a bunch of 2.2 meg resistors and wire them across the two terminals of each send jack. If you're only getting the pop with certain pedals, it would probably be best to add the pull-down resistor to just those (input jack) instead of the loop box though.

I really have to get one of those loop master things. Definitely one with the separate tuner out button.

cool vid. :)
