Threw 2 Celestian G-12's in there & painted it up to compliment by Orange Tiny Terror. Sounds awesome & it's one of a kind!

At least 4" clearance. I love the sound. Tight with lots of bottom end & warm sounding too. Plus LOUD as heck! Wired the two speakers to run at 16 ohms.

Great work! Loved the colors, they look like perfect couple.
Did you try running them at 8 ohms? Is there a significant difference?

Looks great! Good idea having the speakers arranged vertically too. In some ways i think the elevation that arrangement gives makes more sense than going down the usual horizontal route

Couldn't really tell a difference but I was told the amp doesn't have to push as hard at 16 ohms so it gives me more headroom.

Good job bro! Looks very nice.

I'm always surprised at how little people build their own cabs. I know there are great manufacturers out there but still: it's probably the easiest piece of one's rig to build. You can pick your finish, wood, speakers, etc... you don't always save much in the end but you have something great that's build exactly to your own specs...

What did you build it from? Did you do any sort of jointing, or did you just screw some lumber together?

I agree! Having the speaker elevated off the floor would help projection..

Ive considered it Many many times.. But am afraid it would not sound good.. I can nail wood, but dont know how to design one sonically.. What makes Brand A sound better than B?
I build a pedal board for myself and its functional and road worthy, but weighs about 75 lbs...haha And, I couldnt find a proper way to attach the lid, so got discouraged..

Then, I have to learn about Ohms and all... haha

But still want to.. I love to make things and would LOVE to create something musicians can use...
