I've googled and checked the forums...but i still need help with this.
I'm trying to use an A5/A8 combo in my Prails pickup. I originally put the A5 in between the rail and P90 with the A8 on the outside and it made the rail weak as hell. So then I swapped the two positions. Now the rail is strong, but I think the P90 is out of phase with itself.
Are the magnets in a P90 supposed to attract each other or repel each other?
EDIT: Okay...i don't think the problem is that the pickup is out of phase...it's just very weak on the B and G strings...
the Rail is powerful on all strings, but the P90 is significantly weaker on the B and G strings than any other. When I had the mags swapped and rail was weak, the P90 was powerful on all strings. Please help me figure out what's going on.
