Just swapped magnet out of the c8; based on the reading from the forums, UOA5 seemed to be the way to go.
While I love an Ibanez S with a C8 in the bridge, this guitar is the maple neck model;
to me, the added high end was too much and wanted something to go better with the chewy PGn that's in there.
Before testing, I did a clip with the A8 magnet it, swapped, did again without changing anything.

Tried to get pickup height exact, and the old strings were rather 'new' still.
I know high gain isn't the best way to control an experiment, but tell me if you think the sound is different in the clip.
It definitely feels it, and sounds it in the room.
