For the fattest solo tone ever, what pedals do you recommend?

It's a general question so any type of fattening is welcome

boss SD-1. gain on low, level on high..

it makes everything so much more sensitive to touch and feel!

The Xotic BB Preamp is supposed to really fatten up lead tones into the *umble territory. The FD2 seems to be popular for that too, but I've never played either to give you a hands-on review :yell:

I find that I lose alot of bottom end when I do that.

My vote goes for the big muff. That thing is stupid fat.

I like running my Vox Valvetone with the tone at 11 o'clock, Gain at 9 o'clock, and volume at 3 o'clock. This, combined with a good neck pickup and an amp that's on the verge of break up gives me my fattest, tastiest solo tones.

octave pedal with one octave lower on but blended so that the wet signal is much less. also, a nice heavy fuzz. thats how i think, though.

or forget the octave and have the bass player play the same solo one octave lower.

I agree with the OC-3. They are quite expensive though compared to say, the OC-2.

But apparently, the OC-2, was monophonic, meaning it couldn't handle playing chords and stuff, whereas the OC-3 is polyphonic, and can handle them.
