Finally I had the time to makeover my "untele" looking tele to a more acceptable looking one :laugh2:

...I liked it before. It looked more unique. Now it just looks... boring I hate to say.

Though I love the chrome humbucker in either pic:D

i like the after version. maybe u cud use some black knobs? kinda lika black and chrome look. what humbucker is it?

tat pup is a chrome SD 59'
hmm black knobs.... good idea...but I dont think they make black knobs for teles do they?>

much better IMO!! black knobs would be sweet on there and yes they do make tele knobs in black both barrel (flat top) and dome (vintage) style!

I like the "before" better also, but the "after" ain't bad. ;)

I think Stew-Mac has the black knobs.

Get a tortoise shell pickguard for that baby and you'll really turn some heads!

That chrome humbucker/bridge thing looks great!

I see I wasn't the only guy that thought "TORTOISE!"...but, seeiong that he just finished it I figured I'd leave well enough alone. I love tortoise guards on almost everything!

What are those pickups?

the pickups are a SD 59' in the bridge and a dimarzio virtual T in the neck (I had it modifed and added a chrome cover over it )

now .... I have to find some black vintage knobs ! :smack:

I like after. The before picture is a little buisy and unfarmiliar looking. Hard to look at, sort of. The after looks like a custom tele, IMO. Nice.

When My rio grandes get in im going uncovered in the neck to break up the white pickguard.

I like that look.
