i was sitting in my room and i started to feel this song if you know what i mean. well the thing im bad at is i always make up something cool then im too lazy to write it down and i forget it by the next day.

so i decided to record this. my parents were going to bed early and didnt want me to be making noises with the instruments in the living room though. so i only had one chance to get the mandolin part right and one chance to get the bass part right. so it was like i felt the song out asked if i could record it before they hit they hay and was told i only had one chance to get it perfect :smack: its not very perfect but i was happy with the results given i only had one chance.

Very cool Cowboy Dan . . . even though you're using a Mandolin, this has a definite "Who" sound to it. Also reminds me of a Led Zep song . . . can't remember the name, but I think its off the 4th album.

Nice pickin' . . . ;)

Dang . . . now this is going to drive me nuts, trying to remember which Led Zeppelin song this reminds me of . . . "When the Levy Breaks" maybe, or off that album . . . :smack:

Re: mandolin and bass clip from me :)

thanks man, if its off the fourth album it may be "The Battle Of Evermore" or "Going to California". i havnt heard the album in a bit but i believe it was those two songs that had a good bit of mandolin in them.
