Mark IV

You asked me, in another post, about clips of my strat with the neck seth p-up. Well, If u go here: http://www.brandonarzillo.com/clips.htm , you will hear that gtr, playing through a Mark IV. I think on those clips, the only part that is not the Mark IV, is the gtr solo on Stefanie (Dr. Z Z28).

Hey Brandon,

Your clips rule! And oh my, that clean tone - nice! Didn't know Mesa's could do that.

You singing in these clips too right?

Re: Mark IV

Thanx! Yeah, that's me singing.

Funny thing about me choosing the Mark IV for most Gtrs on that CD: I have a Dr. Z, my 68 Fender Pro Reverb, 50's supro, DRRI, and the studio had a Top Hat, Brunnetti, & a Bogner Shriva. Well, I was really feeling the Mark IV at the time and it is so versitile that it's on about 90% of that CD. I did use my Dr.Z and the studio's Top Hat for a part or 2, though.

The Mark IV has an excellent clean & pushed tone. Very underrated. I haven't really played through it much the last year, but it is my "go to" amp for large gigs where I need both power & tone.

All the Marks I've played had EXCELLENT blackface-voiced clean tones. They're so good that they almost overshadow the famous high-gain tones. :laugh2:
