Generally the Fenders are for his clean, and he uses Mesa Rectos and Mesa cabs.

I've seen a video of him playing live during the My Own Prison tour, and he was running Mesa Duals for dirty and Matchless amps for cleans, but I think he usually uses Fender TRs for clean. I've also seen pics of him plugged into a Diezel VH-4, but that was in a studio.

There's also a Bogner head, a Marshall head, and other stuf there too. But notice the recto is the one with the power lights on.

Slightly off topic, but Alter Bridge kicks lots of ass. I'd always thought Creed would be cool without that asswipe Stapp

On tour he currently uses Triple Rectos through 2 Recto 4X12's and 2 custom Mesa 2X15's for dirty and a Tone King and Fener Twin for cleans. On the Alter Bridge album he used those amps as well as a Diezel VH4, Bogner Uberschall, Marshall Plexi among others.
Personally I think Tremonti is very under rated. He is a great guitarist who was limited within Creed and is only starting to reveal his true talents while in Alter Bridge. If any of you have seen him live or even on their most recent Leno appearance you know what he is capable of.

It's always confounded me how someone can have so much invested in quality gear and manage to sound like an Epi Paul into one of the first generation Crate amps with a Boss HM-2 in the signal chain.
Seriously...am I the only one who thinks that this guys sound is just horrendous and lifeless?

IMO it's you. I'm not Temonti fan, or a Creed fan AT ALL. But my wife and teenage daughter were Creed fans so a couple years ago I was dragged to see them live twice (with Sevendust opening, which was cool). Anyway, Tremonti had the most killer live metal tone I'd heard in a long time.Skarekrough said:

I'm in the Tremonti camp, too. I think he's got a great head for riffs, and I love his sound. Glad to see he's soloing also. I liked Creed, and thought they had some fantastic tunes. However, it's popular now to be a Creed hater and it's always been unpopular to sing about spirituality.

Human Clay had plenty of good tunes on it. I kinda thought the last album got a little self-indulgent though.
