I'm a big fan of Marshall amps and I'm looking for a small amp to take with me on vacations, trips, etc. I need something really portable and I like the idea that this Marshall has built in effects.

anyone have any opinions about this 15 watt Marshall with built in effects?

thanks,

its got nice sparkly clean, great crunchy distortion, the effects are good quality. thier great amps.

I used to use it as my main guitar amp as I first started to learn guitar. It is pretty decent. The effects aren't worth wild though, you can just save the extra 30 or so dollars and get the regular 15 watt practice amp, it sounds same.

Yea they would serve that purpose. I recommend the Roland cube15 aswell. Cant go wrong with either. Is there any specific sound your after? Anyways, the Marshall would serve you well.

I mostly play LZ, Metallica, and AC/DC type rock, with a little punk stuff mixed in. I like the idea of the built in effects, so I won't have to drag my effects board around.

Haven't tried the Roland cube yet tho... Maybe I'll check it out....

Thanks,
