Marshall 15W Haze

I have been looking for a low powered tube head for a while and this looks like it might just fit the bill. Does anyone have any hands on experience with these?

I don't think that they are available yet in the States. I saw that MF is taking "preorders".

I haven't found anywhere here that has them yet either. Just hoping someone in another locale may have had the chance to demo them.

... is it just my age-diminished hearing fooling me or do these newer Marshall amps sound soft, "polite" and emasculated? I know the Vintage Modern has tons of gain but its got no ball$... and listening to the video demo of that new 40w mini stack, it sounds anemic too and with none of that typical, old Marshall Plexi/JMP amp rudeness and "kick". Even the JCM800s had some steel-toed "jackboot" to 'em. These new Marshalls sound too timid for me... or maybe I'm just stuck in a pre-"politically correct" amp tone World... :banghead:

I played the 40 watt combo at the NY amp show a few weeks back... heard someone else playing the 15 watt mini-stack when I walked into the room.

These amps are NOT firebreathing gained out metal monsters. If you're looking for that you'll be sorely disappointed. They're really more about mid & moderate gains... decent cleans, and a solid "gigging" package for the blues/rock player. They sorta hit me as Marshalls version of a fender hot rod if that gives you any sort of relevant vibe.

Personally I kinda liked the combo. Its the first 'new' Marshall I've played since the DSL's that I didn't immediately hate. The TSL, JVM, Vintage Moderns didn't do anything for me... YMMV.
