I have a feeling I can get this thing to sound better with more tweaking but I didn't have the house to myself as long as I was expecting. Still sounds pretty good though IMO.

Classic rock- straight no pedals.

and a little something for wfd with the same os-2 setting as the lead. IMO it sounds better for the rock stuff though.

Sounds a bit smaller recorded than in person but that's almost always the case. Anyway, tell me what ya think!

Ah- it's a ss from the 80's. Similar to the one gearjoneser just sold. I think it's a 5210? Anyway I basically thought this amp sounded like crap until yesterday when I decided to give it another go and came to the conclusion that it only sounds like crap with the gain dimed and the treble too high. I don't think it sounds good for super high gain at all really but kinda well suited toward classic rock(at reasonable volumes). I bought it well over a year ago for like 25 bucks at a garage sale.

Sounds real hollow to me. Like, I sort of dig it, but not completely.

Actually I agree. I think part of that is the difference of what sounds good in the room and what sounds good recorded. I'm willing to bet with some more experimentation and a little tweaking it shouldn't be too hard to fix. I do like the way that type of tone makes leads sound super baked though. In any case this is a night and day with how I used to have it sounding- even harsher/nastier than the metal clip if you can believe it.
