Go with the Peavey. It has clean, crunch, and mega gain. The lead channel may not like overdrive pedals, but you won't need them trust me. If you absolutely must use overdrive pedal use it on the rhythm channel. it's not a 1 trick pony if you know how to use it

Anyway, are we in 40watter country for your specific wattage needs, or due to financial limitations for the purchase??? Because the answer to that question might just change everything.
If it's the size not the price, PRS [or PRS SE] 30 or 50. Definitely. These guys, even the Chinese versions, absolutely own the entire category, and even the PRS 30 SE combo can annihilate quite a few halfstack configurations.
MESA 50 my foot... it can't hold a candle to the simplest of import PRS combos.
