Marshall DSL40c vs Egnater Tweaker 40 112

I was looking for a tube amp that can play anything from classic rock to some metal that's under 500 dollars. I've pretty much narrowed the amps I've been looking at to these. I'm leaning more towards the marshall. Any input?

The Marshall can definitely do what you need. It greatly benefits from a new speaker and pre-amp tubes and I would factor that in cost wise. In addition the vast majority come out of the box biased all over the map. Check bias immediately. But once they are right, they are very good sounding amplifiers. A great value.

I dont have any real experience with the tweaker 40, but I suspect it can handle your requirements as well.

I second the DSL 40. I am looking for one myself and plan on doing all of the above mods to it..
