Marshall JCM 900 SL-X 50

Someone on Ebay in Germany has put up a strange red looking Marshall head for sale:

It's a JCM 900 SL-X 50 model in red. Never seen it before.

Is it one of those really ancient limited edition models?

Has anyone tried it, heard it or know anything about it?

It would be interesting to find out how the SL-X 50 is different from the ordinary JCM 900s.

i have never sean that before. i have a regular jcm 900. it would be interesting to hear one of these versions.

i always thought the SL X was an even more gainy version of the 900.....and the one i played was like that, but im not positive

the red is a limited ed the sl-x is a marshall with 4 12ax7 preamp tubes and an all tube signal path no diod clipping like the other jcm900's it's a stipped down jcm900 closer to a jcm800 than a jcm900 basicly it is a moded jcm800 from the factory the early ones with el-34's sound great i had one for a while it was a great single channel rock/metal amp and the best part is they are cheap for marshalls
