Thoughts please! I've tried a jvm and loved it however they're quite pricey...
I've found a 2nd hand tsl100 and 1960 cab - these seem to be a lot cheaper
Would this still be a good buy or should I just go for the JVM...

Having owned both, there’s no way I would voluntarily go back to a TSL100.

The first thing that comes to my mind about TSL amps is all the reliability issues that folks reported around. I did not have one but a bunch of friends did. Poor souls.

DSL amps were okay from that era. It's a matter of taste / preferences but e-bay may cough up some old trusty JCM900-ish amps for even less than a TSL.

Other than that, a JVM is a great asset. If you have the money, don't cheap it out.

Yeh chrs. To be fair I have heard of the quality issues...
I'm fairly new to tube amps so has anyone got any recommendations for good, versatile amps? Preferably three channel...

I owned the tsl i22 100 watt 2x12 combo a number of years ago and it was the most unreliable amp I have ever owned. it was so bad I downgraded to a valvestate which developed a nasty hum which the dealer refused to acknowledge so i then downgraded further to an all mosfet model.
