Marshall Modern-Vintage

Re: Marshall Modern-Vintage

I hate to say this as I'm a Marshall player and they're my favorite (well before '80 anyway) but those clips don't do anything for me at all. They all sound thin and the tone is OK. It's just nothing spectacular. I'll reserve final judgement 'til I try one in person but I'd still rather have a JTM45 and/or 1987 reissue than what I heard on Youtube.

I agree.

Then again I'm not a big marshall guy.

Re: Marshall Modern-Vintage

VINTAGE MODERN and JVM are NOT NOT NOT The same

one is a KT66 blend of gain and classic tone

the other is 4 ch and El34 respectively

Aaaaah now I see... checked the website again... the JVMs weren't on there last time i checked it out.

Jeebus man... the JVM has almost as many knobs as a Road King on the front panel.
