MARSHALL VM 2466, 100 watt all valve amp

Re: MARSHALL VM 2466, 100 watt all valve amp

Man that thing should've been gone at a moments notice. Wish you all the luck I have.

Good news. I think it's been sold.
Fortunately, I'll know for sure by tomorrow.
Unfortunately, I'll have to pack it up and ship it to Chicago.
Fortunately, if that deal falls through, I have another buyer waiting in the wings who is local and will come and pick it up (no packing and no shipping).
Unfortunately, if he has to wait too long he may change his mind about buyin it and I'll have to list it again.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If either one of the deals goes through, I'll be able to pay for my smaller amp, which I already bought (and the credit card bill will be coming soon). I guess I like living on the edge.

My new amp is the Egnater Rebel 30, which I am really digging so far. It's still very loud though. But sounds beautiful.

Yeh, it's a done deal. SOLD.

Man, I played it again today before packing it up to ship it. I was soooo tempted to keep it and return the buyer's money. This amp sounds so awesome. I keep it in the high gain setting and just roll off my guitar volume to clean it up.

What a rich and gorgeous tone it has. I compared it to other Marshalls and a Mesa Mark V last night at Guitar Center....nothing even came close to the tone of this 2466.

At first all I wanted to do was sell this amp so I could pay for my smaller Rebel 30, but now all I want to do is keep it. I think I'd rather sell one of my kids.

But I made a deal and I won't go back on my word to the buyer.

As Dr. Smith (Lost in Space) used to say..."Oh, the pain".
