The only thing about that one is that it's 40mm at the nut which is more p bass than j bass. Sure, I'm comfortable with a p, but that's really not the point. It's 1100 usd.
A custom order would be about 1600, which would include hard case, the 38mm nut and Aguilar pre/pups. If this one was a 38mm though, I'd have an order in already

I've decided I want to stick with 38mm. So I'll have to wait until I can order (money up front) and then be able to pay it off when done.
It's REALLY odd to me that "40mm" is the "norm" for in stock instruments. A Jazz bass that is closer to a p bass in width? After some time, it makes no sense.
