After going through a few PRS and Les Pauls I`ve finally decided to go custom with a McNaught singlecut built exactly the way I want. No Gibson Custom shop or PRS private stock prices here.
Specs:
mahagany body / neck
diamond flamed maple cap, chevron, body and headstock
unfinished neck, ebony board, paua dot inlays
les paul electronics
bbq/texas pups
tone pros tuneomatic
color: blackburst safari top / solid black sides and back

6 weeks and counting!

How much, if you don't mind. I really like McNaught's, Bakers, and McInturffs, but I always thought they cost over $2800

DTMs are incredible guitars. I played one and instantly I knew it was quality. The old USA Bakers and DTMs are two of the very finest boutique guitars around. Custom ordered probably means they were a good deal over $2800. I guarantee it'll wreck just about any PRS or Gibson you put up against it.

Didn't Baker change owners?? I don't think the original guy makes them now.

Ed Roman bought Baker, stupidly changed the design to a 24 fret Korean made model, and now sells them quite a bit cheaper than the originals.

Awesome man....really awesome. I'd love to have a custom made guitar like that. $3400 really isn't that bad a price either for exactly what you want of such high craftmanship.
