Mid 70's Castilla Kopy Kat MM, '86 Gibson CS Melody Maker, '63 Epi Olympic Special

Pretty good gang of 3, I've really fallen in love with Melody Makers as of late.

Yeah they are all to the meaty side. The Epi is an old school thick neck but super comfortable. The Castilla is a little later 60's style still nice and full but a bit more tapered. The Gibson is a bit more modern but still nice and full.

I can't say it's vicious but it's not wimpy, it hits the meter at 6.6k and sounds a bit Tele-ish, really can't get enough of this thing. I feel like I've wasted a lot of time with Tele's chasing something that all these guitars have in spades. The Castilla pups read low 4k area and really sound great, kind of Gretsch-y, really sounds like Malcolm cranked up. The Gibson has a Custom 5 in it and is just a pure hot rod.
